Quite often cool isn't smart. Jurassic Park only needs guns to show what happens when you macho too much against nature(aka Dieter Stark in The Lost World). Otherwise it's about our responsibility as a creative and scientific species. The dinosaurs are an ethical dilemma yet they aren't exactly a threat to our existence, just the lives of certain people who they interact with. The point of the novels was that we should simply let nature be what it is without attempting to control it for otherwise we only dig our own grave. That's the only way we can save ourselves, not the planet nor it's biology. how about as a video game |

Whatever the filmmakers decide to do with the next movie/s, there are a few things I believe are needed, maybe some of you might agree: (1) More dino-dino interactions: I mean, I can only think of a handful in previous films-JP1 Rex vs Galli; Rex vs. raptors; JP2 don’t know; JP3 Rex vs.carcass, Rex vs. Spino. I’m not advocating a Discovery Channel nature doc, but show us more of their natural interspecific behavior, much more!! (2) More dino diversity and numbers: of course money and time are the constraints here. (3) Deeper dino character development: didn’t paleontologist Robert Bakker write a book, Raptor Red, that takes place in the time of dinosaurs? I’ve not read it, but I’m sure the reader becomes engrossed in the characters of the dinos themselves and roots for or against certain ones etc. I’m not advocating a more realistic, anthropomorphized version of Disney’s "Dinosaurs", and of course good human characters are essential and shouldn't be overshadowed, but we need some dinosaurs as protagonists as well. We do this with contemporary animal stories. As for the cast, why not start integrating some new faces with the old ones. Or maybe bring Lex and Tim back, as dinosaur activists like there grandfather. The actor who played Tim, Joseph Mazzello, was recently in the new HBO movie “Pacific”. He is of age to play a greater role in new JP films. i dont see the dinosaur protagonist thing working , unless someone tames a t-rex. |

@e-rex but thats the thing, if its a great piece of illustration, pretty much any viewer should interpret without assistance/info
@slayer thanks here's without the toes (like in the first film with malcolm) ![]() I plan to send both posters I guess to Spielberg alright!! enough jibba jabba, I shall start hardcore grinding on this script. I'll be bock (ahhnold voice) periodically (50%, 75% and 100% done with the first draft). |
